A Gummysearch alternative that does not touch Reddit
People used Reddit keyword tools to catch posts where a stranger might want their product. LaunchRadar is built for the same job on different sources, with a score instead of a raw keyword hit.
Gummysearch became a shorthand for “watch Reddit for people describing the problem I solve.” This page is not a feature matrix and it does not quote a price, a user count, or a shutdown date. Those change, and inventing them would be worse than leaving them out.
What LaunchRadar actually watches
Hacker News, through the public Algolia search API, and Bluesky, through the public search API. X is behind a provider interface and stays disabled until X_BEARER_TOKEN is set. LaunchRadar does not call the Reddit API. If Reddit is the only place your buyers talk, this product will not replace a Reddit workflow.
It starts from the product, not a keyword you already know
You paste a URL. The app reads the page and drafts searches that sound like a person asking for help: “looking for…”, “anyone recommend…”, “alternative to…”. You can edit every line before the first scan. That is the opposite of dumping your brand name into an alert and reading every mention.
A score, then a reply you send yourself
Each saved post gets an intent score and a reason. Pro accounts also get an AI-drafted reply. Free and Solo accounts get a short reply angle. None of those replies are posted for you. There is no auto-comment, no auto-DM, and no connected Reddit or Bluesky account that speaks as you.
Who it is for
A founder, indie hacker, or vibe coder with one product and a willingness to write a decent reply. Free covers one product, a weekly digest, and three leads a week, with no card. Solo is US$19 a month for a daily digest and no lead cap. Pro is US$49 a month for five products, a faster refresh, drafted replies, and a 7-day trial.
If you want to see the shape of a result before you create an account, use the free lead sample. Five posts, no signup.
